PRAYER VIGIL

TODAY 8:00 am - 8:15 p.m.

Sanctuary or from home

There are still some openings on our prayer vigil schedule today if you are interested in participating. Sign up at the link below.

We want to thank God for the many blessings we have received and pray for the needs and vision for our church moving forward. This is also a time to pray for our neighbors near us and for our sisters and brothers around the world.

PRAYER VIGIL SIGN UP

Prayer Tent:

We encourage you to place the prayer tent previously mailed to you in a visible place and pray it now and throughout Lent.

And do not forget to do good and share with others,

for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrew 13:16

Not an equal share, but an equal sacrifice.

BOTTLED WATER NEEDED:

Crim Elementary is in need of bottled water for their students. Due to covid restrictions they are not allowed to use the drinking fountains and many students don't bring their own refillable water bottle. Donations can be dropped off during church office hours or on Sundays.

PRAYER JARS:

The season of Lent is a time for self-examination and anticipation as we recall the events in the life of Jesus that ultimately led to the cross and his resurrection. We often practice the spiritual disciplines of fasting, prayer and giving or acts of service to help us follow in the path Jesus sets before us.

Prayer jars with craft sticks with names of people and groups connected with FUMC and our ministry partners are available for you to take and pray over during Lent. There are jars located on the candle altar table, at the coffee station and the welcome table in the main hallway. Please feel free to take as many names as you feel called to do.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God:

that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."    I John 5:14 (NIV)
