Start the Week with a Laugh -- Humorous eAudiobooks
Laughter really is the best medicine. It strengthens the immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress. Download one of these humorous eAudiobooks to get your daily dose. Many are narrated by the author and other comedians. These eAudiobooks may be downloaded in the Libby by OverDrive app or viewed online on our OverDrive page.
Complete the 2020 US Census
If you are part of the 40% of Wilton households that have not completed the 2020 US Census, please do so . Census results have an impact on planning and funding for hospitals, disaster response, fire departments, schools, highways, and much more. The results of the census also determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and they are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts. You can complete the census online, by phone, or by mail. Visit the 2020 Census   website  to get started and for basic facts , including privacy  protections . If you have already completed the 2020 Census, thank you.
Access Health CT Extends Special Enrollment Period Until April 17
Access Health CT has extended the deadline of its new special enrollment period that was created due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. If you now find yourself without health insurance, you may qualify to enroll. The new deadline to enroll is this Friday, April 17. To see if you qualify for coverage starting May 1, you must call 855-365-2428. Learn more here.
Town Hall Zoom Meeting with Senator Richard Blumenthal
Wednesday, April 15 from 11am-12pm
Senator Blumenthal will provide the latest information on COVID-19-related developments during a conversation with WBDC CEO Fran Pastore, U.S. Small Business Administration District Director Mark Hayward, and employment attorneys Brittany Christensen and James Greifzu. The State of Connecticut has extended the deadline for filing personal and some business-related taxes. Please see the CT Department of Revenue Services links below for more information. Of course, you should consult with your personal or business tax, accounting and legal advisors.

Find Book Titles You Learn About in the Media
We are all spending more time with the news media lately. Did you hear or read about a book, but can't remember the title? We can help. Visit our website and under the Books heading, click on Find Your Next Reads. There you will see the NoveList Plus button. Sign in with your Wilton Library card and you can search for books that were mentioned on popular media outlets such as Good Morning America, The View or Meet the Press. Under Advanced Search, one of the filters is Media Mentions -- including syndicated and late night shows, major networks, radio outlets and more. Happy book hunting!
