At Home With Wilton Library
December 23, 2020
Wilton Library will be closed on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Friends Who Work at The Library
When looking for something to read, we often ask friends for recommendations. Well, today everyone has a friend who works at the library as we unveil our Staff Picks for 2020. It's also the season for our annual appeal and reading Christmas novels. Please indulge in both. We're also zooming with teen meditation and a knitting group. And if you're an eBook enthusiast, we are on the hunt for our 100,000th eBook checkout. The lucky reader will get a swag bag of library goodies. Make the most of the last few days of this challenging year. We're here for you.
The Wilton Library Staff Picks of 2020
Who better to ask what to read next than someone who works at the library? Today our staff members
share their favorite adult fiction and nonfiction published in 2020. Place a hold in the catalog and pick it up at the Drive-Thru or opt for a digital download.
Wilton Library's 125th year was a transformative time of bridging our past with our future. Check out the new Wilton Library Association Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2019/2020 to learn more about this unique time. Thank you to all our Friends and supporters listed in the report.
This year we were still able to provide programs for all ages and interests as well as greatly expanding our digital collection. Despite the unusual circumstances, we were still here for the community. But we cannot continue to provide the same level of services, programming, and expanding collection materials without privately raised support. Our budget depends on donations to fund every collection item and all programs and services.
Please Click Here to Make Your Gift to the library before December 31.
ISO Wilton Library's 100,000th eBook Checkout

Service Hours Update
Wilton Library has expanded Drive-Thru Window hours to Mondays through Thursdays, 10am to 7pm; Fridays 10 to 6; and Saturdays, 10 to 5. Due to the current spike in COVID cases and out of an abundance of caution, we have suspended our Express Services appointments. Express Services appointments will resume following an assessment of the COVID conditions resulting from holiday gatherings. This action is being taken in order to keep you, the community, and our employees safe. During our holiday recess, the building will also undergo a planned deep cleaning. Please note the library, including the Drive-Thru Window, will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1.
