At Home With Wilton Library
December 30, 2020
Wilton Library will be closed on Thursday, December 31st and Friday, January 1st, in observance of New Year's.
Some Good Things about 2020
Sometimes the silver lining is all we have. For obvious reasons, 2020 will not go down as a good year. At the same time, 2020 brought about shorter commutes, longer family dinners, reduced carbon emissions, and new ways to connect and listen, among other graces. As a library and a community, we embraced new tools and resources – building a bridge to an enhanced Wilton Library experience for years to come. Thank you for being part of this journey and we hope for brighter days and new connections in 2021. Read on for a look at your favorite eBooks, a fantasy fiction escape, food films, and programs to keep you informed, connected, inspired, and engaged. We're always here for you.
We are nearing our 100,000th eBook checkout and we're celebrating with a swag bag giveaway to one lucky patron. Will you be that reader? Take a peek at this list of the most popular eBooks that have been checked out in our community since Wilton Library began offering them in 2011.
Wilton Library is here for you today as we have been for the past 125 years!
Our library exists to serve you, our patrons, and the community, but we simply cannot do it without your support. We are not a municipal library supported entirely by tax dollars so YOU are our lifeline to raise at least 25% of our budget. Private funds sustain our collection, as well as support every program and service we provide. Please Click Here to Make Your Gift to Wilton Library.
Enjoy a temporary escape and fuel your imagination with these recent fantasy fiction releases. Fantasy fiction continually pushes the creative bounds of writing and inspires the reader to engage in a world beyond their own. Check out these recent releases.

Wilton Library has expanded Drive-Thru Window hours to Mondays through Thursdays, 10am to 7pm; Fridays 10 to 6; and Saturdays, 10 to 5. Due to the current spike in COVID cases and out of an abundance of caution, we have suspended our Express Services appointments. Express Services appointments will resume following an assessment of the COVID conditions resulting from holiday gatherings. This action is being taken in order to keep you, the community, and our employees safe. During our holiday recess, the building will also undergo a planned deep cleaning. Please note the library, including the Drive-Thru Window, will be closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
