Baby Shower Items Delivered!

On Tuesday morning Linda, Kelly, Patti, and Jo were at CTS inventorying and packing up the items for the Hope Center.

Then, off to Walmart they went with $770 in donations to purchase baby items. Who can resist shopping for the little booties, mittens, and snuggle sacks? After 45 minutes the money was spent, and two grocery carts were filled! Items were packed up and the CTS team went to the Hope Center. An employee welcomed the group and when she saw that we had 2 vans full of baby items she exclaimed, “I can’t believe all these donations! This is wonderful! The gal that puts together the layette kits for the new mothers is going to be thrilled! Your congregation is going to help so many new mothers get off to a good start! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Once again, the generosity of the CTS congregational members has proven immeasurable!

Thank you CTS members for your ongoing generosity!

Put these dates on your calendar!

We are planning some fun opportunities to get together with fellow CTS members this Summer!  No need to RSVP, just come if you can for these social outings.

FOOD PANTRY

Helping those in need!

As summer approaches so many families in the Waukesha area will struggle to provide the extra food needed now that school is out! We can help supplement that need!

For June please consider bringing in protein sources such as:

  • Canned Tuna
  • Canned Chicken
  • Canned Ham/Spam
  • Peanut Butter

Summer is no fun when you're hungry!

 Donate what you can!

You can drop items off in the shopping cart in the narthex.

The office is open between 11:00 and 3:00 Mondays through Thursdays.

If you prefer, you can drop your items off directly at the Food Pantry.

YOU ARE AMAZING! - THANK YOU!

On Sunday June 21st, we will once again provide bagged lunches for the Loaves and Fishes meal at the Hope Center.

A sign up sheet will be up soon if you are able to donate items or you can donate money (earmarked Loaves and Fishes).

There were a fair number of children at the Hope center when we delivered the bags in May, one young boy asked if we had juice boxes and I had to say “sorry but no”, so would like to provide juice boxes/pouches in addition to the water.

Milk is a luxury and the Hope Center is always looking for donations. Also many visitors like to enjoy a cup of coffee while spending time in the day center. In addition to the bagged meals we would like to donate 4 gallons of 2% milk and a large container of ground coffee. All these items will be included on the sign up sheet.

We once again are asking for your help! Items can be brought to the church by Thursday June 19th.  We will shop for additional items needed and prepare the lunches for delivery to the Hope Center on Sunday.

Thank you again for your generosity!

The Youth Group and Lisa Carstensen (L&F coordinator)

Youth Group meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

The 2nd Sunday of each month is an opportunity to Usher

Please Take Note

We appricate that you bring in aluminum cans to support our Youth Group.

However, lately we have been finding other aluminum items (aluminum pans, trash, along with plastic water bottles) in the bins.

We only collect aluminum drink cans.

We would also request that the cans being collected be rinsed out - during summer months the bees and bugs are a bother.

REMEMBER - Bring in your aluminum cans! Proceeds go to CTS Youth Group

There’s a recycle bin outside, just to the right of the end of the building

(facing Hwy 59 - in the small alcove area ) to deposit cans in.

Sunday school is taking a break during the summer months and will start back in session on Rally Sunday. Look for the registration forms during the month of August.

We are always looking for additional teachers. If teaching is something you might enjoy, please talk with Jo Pirlott.

(ONLY MEMBERS MAY REQUEST)

NEW 2026 SIGNUP SHEET!

The 2026 signup sheet for sponsoring the altar plants is on the narthex bulletin board. What a wonderful way to honor departed family members/friends, celebrate important milestones such as birthdays and anniversary, or any reason that is important to you.

Express Your Gratitude!

The sign-up sheet is located on the narthex bulletin board - please consider filling in a spot with requested information.

At the same time you will be beautifying the church!

You can place a $28 check (designated to "plant sponsor") in the offering plate at your convenience. If you have any questions, contact the office.

Distilled Water Always Needed

The flowing water of our font is a beautiful reminder of the abundance of God’s grace to us as his baptized children. But that water evaporates quickly-especially through the winter months!  Next time you’re at the grocery store, perhaps you could purchase a jug or two of distilled water for the font.

Water can be dropped off at the office or in the storeroom next to the Finance office.

Thank you for your help! Your donation is really appreciated.

Email and Text Spoofing and Scam

More and more congregations, and ministries are being targeted by scammers and phishing attacks. These emails or text messages often pretend they are a pastor or bishop and ask for private conversation, or the need for a favor, or to purchase gift cards. These attacks are a phishing or spoofing scam. REMEMBER... PASTOR KAREN WOULD NOT ASK FOR A FAVOR, PRIVATE CONVERSATION, OR GIFT CARDS in such a manor. If you feel you have receive a "spoofing" or "scam" text or email please make sure to check the senders email address, this is a first clue. If you are unsure please call the office or contact Pastor Karen directly.
