I’m so grateful that spring has arrived. I love the hope and promise that it always brings – this year in particular!
In this issue we’re all about gratitude. We’re celebrating our donors and funders – and introducing you to our newest staff member, Rabbi Barney Brickner. We hope you’ll get to know Barney soon. He is wonderful at helping us all feel better.
In two short weeks it will be Passover. Our celebration of freedom will take on new meanings this year, and I’m happy to greet this holiday that also celebrates spring
Thank YOU from all of us for the many ways you “spring forth” to help our community.
Operation Dignity A Success!
Our joint campaign with Jewish Silicon Valley has surpassed our $45,000 goal to support emergency needs (medical, dental, vision, food, and home services/repair needs) for local Holocaust survivors. This amount is matched 1:1 by KAVOD SHEF in partnership with Seed the Dream Foundation. Thank you for your generous support!

We are so inspired by our community’s incredible generosity. Thank you for helping Holocaust survivors live out their final years with compassion and dignity.
Join JFS SV in Helping Our Community Celebrate Passover
Once again, JFS SV is organizing and safely delivering nearly 250 Passover food packages to our clients. Volunteers are needed! If you’d like to help deliver food packages, please reach out to Lori Cinnamon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your partnership helps our most vulnerable clients – holocaust survivors, refugees, low income families, isolated seniors and more. In 2020, we especially appreciated your support!

Passover Freedom Drive
Passover commemorates our people's freedom from Egyptian bondage over 3,000 years ago.
As the pandemic enters its 2nd year, we celebrate through acts of loving kindness.
JFS SV has redoubled our efforts to assist our community through essential services.
Your gift of $40, $75, $100, $250 or more to the Passover Freedom Drive will help make Passover a Holiday of Freedom from Hunger and Want.
