The United States is a powerhouse on the exhibit floor at MSPO, Poland's national defense expo — Europe's third largest military industry event .

America's stature at the show reflects its strong alliance with the host country and the larger imperative to promote "Made in the USA" equipment, components and services as the standard for interoperability across eastern Europe.

If you haven't exhibited at MSPO before, this well-established show — going on 30 years serving at NATO's front lines — will surprise you!
Follow the money. Poland's is making a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar push for military modernization, and MSPO is the marketplace.

First announced last September, Poland's just-closed (January 31) $4.6-billion deal for 32 Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighters to replace aging Russian MiG-29s and Su-22s makes a stealthy statement about the country's commitment to a leading-edge connected battlefield and a leading multi-service role on NATO's front lines.
MSPO is Europe's third largest military marketplace
In addition to F-35s, Poland is budgeting to upgrade and add a wide scope of systems, platforms and capabilities over the next 15 years, including:

  • F-16s to build on the existing fleet
  • "Loyal Wingman" Stealth UAVs
  • Imagery, reconnaissance and surveillance
  • Air defense systems
  • Helicopters

SEA
  • Coastal defense vessels
  • Surface combatants
  • Submarines
  • Light missile boats

LAND

Exhibitors Welcomed Polish President, Defence Minister and U.S. Ambassador
MSPO is highly regarded for its robust delegation program. The 2019 edition welcomed a record-breaking 58 delegations from 49 countries. Most prominent among the VVIPs attending the show were Polish President Andrzej Duda and Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak , who toured the USA Partnership Pavilion with U.S. Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher.

Clockwise from top: Northrop Grumman hosted President Duda (center, blue tie) and Minister of National Defence Blaszczak; Ambassador Mosbacher visits the MAXAR booth; President Duda sits in the cockpit of the Lockheed Martin F-35 mockup.
"The United States is proud to support Poland's ambitious military modernization plan, which will bring our armed forces closer together."

The United States stands perennially among the largest national contingents at MSPO, and America's headquarters on-site is the USA Partnership Pavilion. Located in a high-traffic crossroads of Hall F, it's in the center of the action, with easy access to the static display and conference sessions. U.S. industry leaders including Bell, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman anchor the national space. And, an exciting update for 2020, Poland’s Ministry of Defence will now be featured in Hall F as well – within steps of the Pavilion. If you’ve been eager to earn business with Poland’s defense forces, direct exposure for USA Partnership Pavilion exhibitors at MSPO 2020 is assured.
