On Stewardship
Over the last 10 years St. John's has a history of pledges to our annual stewardship appeal ranging between 100 and 135 families supporting the church by pledge. This represents approximately 30% of our parishioners - well below the national norms for Episcopal Churches with as ambitious and daring programs as ours. The overall average for Episcopal churches is close to 50% nationally. This year and in future years we would like to work towards exceeding our traditional norm and coming closer to matching the national norm.

We have made direct appeals for this year's cycle through our fireside chats that have focused on supporting the emerging vision and mission activity of our vibrant congregational life. As that process draws to a close we will be contacting parishioners more widely on this subject in the near future so that the whole parish is able to participate in supporting the core mission and ministry of our church.

Youth Sunday and Choir Recognition Day
Sunday, June 10 at 10 am
This year we combine two St. John's traditions in one. Youth Sunday, when the young adults and youth from our parish take over the 10 am service.  Youth Sunday does not honor the church's ministry to our children, but honor's our children's ministry to the church.  We will also celebrate our Music Ministries by recognizing all our dedicated Choirs - from our most experienced Chancel Choir to our youngest Junior and Primary Choirs.  Please join us for this special service and celebration!
