Redwood City Public Library eNews
February 15, 2022
At long last, in-library events are back!

We are thrilled to announce that on March 1, 2022 we will begin to have indoor events at all Redwood City Public Library locations. It’s been nearly two years since we first closed our doors to events due to the COVID-19 pandemic and next month we will begin to host storytimes, activities and programs inside our libraries! Over these difficult 2 years, our staff brought our community innovative recorded, virtual and outdoor programs. We will continue to offer events online for those who can’t make it to our live programs. Check our calendar for in-person and virtual programming here

While the pandemic is still a concern for our community, our safety measures provide a safe environment for you to gather. To attend our events or visit our libraries, masks are strongly recommended for all visitors and masks are required for unvaccinated individuals over age 2. We also ask that you maintain 6 feet distance from others inside and outside our libraries.

In March, here is a sampling of the programs happening within our libraries:

See you at the Library!

THE MAKERSPACE IS HERE! | ¡EL MAKERSPACE YA ESTÁ AQUÍ!
In addition to indoor programs, The Makerspace at the Downtown Library will be opening on March 1, 2022. NEWS FROM THE FOUNDATION
Valentine’s Day is about love and one little girl wanted to show her love for the library by donating her Tzedakah (weekly charity) money to the library. Juniper, age 4, is shown here presenting her donation and a hand-made card to Redwood City Library Foundation Director Lisa Hicks-Dumanske. Juniper loves going to the library to find new books and check them out with her own library card! She loves the library so much that she wanted to support it. THANK YOU, Junie! You too can support the library by donating to the Redwood City Library Foundation at https://www.rclfdn.org/donate. We are grateful that there is love of the library at all ages!
