OC Fair tickets on sale NOW! Advance purchase required with limited capacity

Tickets for the annual OC Fair are on sale now on ocfair.com! New this year: advance purchase required.
The 2021 OC Fair will run July 16-Aug. 15, Wednesdays through Sundays, with limited capacity. This year's theme is "Time for Fun!"
The Fair Board voted to keep ticket prices at the 2019 OC Fair rates, $12 weekday general admission (Wednesday, Thursday) and $14 weekend general admission (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Admission for seniors (60+) and youth (ages 6-12) is $7 every day and children 5 and younger are free. OC Fair will cover the online ticket fee for admission.
It will be a different OC Fair for guests to explore. With a limited capacity of about 45,000 fairgoers each day, the event is being designed to give visitors more elbow room and will have a reduced number of attractions to follow public health and safety guidelines and allow distancing. Face coverings will be required and, at this time, ticket sales are limited to California residents. The OC Fair follows CDC, state and county health directives.
The Fair will open each day at 10 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays and midnight on weekends. Entrance gates will be reconfigured for distancing and new entry screening technology is under review. Fairgoers are asked to download or print their admission tickets prior to arriving to help move the lines along. The 2021 OC Fair mobile app is in development and will help guests with their plans and purchases in advance. Carnival tickets are also available for purchase online.
General parking is still $10, $20 for buses and limos, credit card only. The free shuttle from Experian and OCTA's OC Fair Express bus service will not be available this year.
A NOTE FOR 2020 OC FAIR SUPER PASS HOLDERS
If you have not requested a refund, your new passes will be in your hands a minimum of two weeks before the Fair. If you have not received your new passes by then, please contact superpass@ocfair.com and we will resolve any issues.
Super Passes purchased for the 2020 OC Fair will be honored any day of the 2021 OC Fair.
COMPETITIONS FOR THE 2021 OC FAIR
Competition guides for the 2021 OC Fair Competitions are now available! Entries are open and some deadlines begin May 28, 2021.
We have made some adjustments to our competitive programs, exhibits and layouts, keeping enhanced health and safety measures in mind. This means some of your favorite categories might be missing or grouped with other categories. Please note that these modifications are not permanent and we look forward to planning future fairs with our full line of competitions and exhibits.
ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP
Some concerts in Pacific Amphitheatre and The Hangar are on sale and more will be coming soon. Capacity will be determined by public health directives and could change prior to show dates. Those who have purchased tickets will be notified of any updates and the OC Fair will announce any capacity changes that could open up additional ticket sales. As always, concert tickets include free same-day Fair admission. There are no shows slated in the Action Sports Arena during the 2021 OC Fair.

Visit current Heroes Hall exhibition virtually
|
|
Although Heroes Hall Veterans Museum and Education Center might be closed until the OC Fair opens in July, you can still view the latest exhibit on display by taking a virtual tour.
The latest exhibit at Heroes Hall focuses on the World War II watercolor paintings of Private Charles J. Miller. The exhibit is the visual diary of Miller, who chronicled his military service in the South Pacific theater during WWII.
Miller was a self-taught artist who had been drawing throughout his lifetime, teaching himself perspective, anatomy and drawing and painting techniques.
During the three-and-a-half years he fought in World War II, Miller sketched nearly 700 scenes of a soldier’s life, and 83 are featured in this exhibit. He drew the familiar horrors – the firefights, the destruction, the wounded carried back from battle – but also less-documented moments: the boredom, the distraction, even silliness.

OC Fair serves community as vaccination site
|
|
The County of Orange opened a large COVID-19 vaccination site on March 31 at OC Fair & Event Center and it is expected to provide up to 2,000 inoculations per day, with that number increasing as vaccine supplies increase.
The site features both drive-up handicapped-access lanes as well as a walk-up area where vaccines are administered indoors. Vaccines are by appointment only. Visit othena.com to book an appointment.
“OC Fair & Event Center always stands ready to serve the community in times of need and there is currently no greater need than helping provide the life-saving COVID-19 vaccine to the people of Orange County,” said OC Fair & Event Center Board Chair Natalie Rubalcava-Garcia. “The Board and staff of the OC Fair are proud to assist with this vaccine rollout as we continue to be a valuable resource to the people of Orange County.”
Rubalcava-Garcia joined OC Supervisor Katrina Foley and other officials to celebrate the opening.
OC Fair & Event Center also served as a COVID-19 testing site from Aug. 26 through April 30, serving thousands of residents seeking free virus tests through OC Health Care Agency.

THIS YEAR IMAGINOLOGY WENT VIRTUAL!
It was so exciting to see students, families and educators enjoying all the S.T.E.A.M. fun of Imaginology in a virtual format. In addition to activities like quizzes, puzzles, word searches, bingo, connect the dots, scavenger hunts and more online, participants were also treated to videos teaching everything from science to crafts.
Livestreamed panels, tournaments and educational sessions helped students explore careers, compete in a chess competition, learn coding and delve into esports. In-person events included the Outdoor Adventure Hunt and Time Travel Virtual Run, encouraging families to get outside and have fun.
S.T.E.A.M. content will remain online at ocfair.com/imaginology so the fun and education can continue into the summer.
Thanks to Imaginology sponsors Raising Cane’s, Nova Academy and the YMCA and to all of our amazing partners!

THERE'S A NEW KID IN TOWN AT CENTENNIAL FARM
Centennial Farm will remain closed until the OC Fair opens on July 16, but please know that life on the farm goes on! We welcomed a new goat kid at the end of April and we are expecting baby pigs this summer.
Our farmhands are there tending to the animals daily and making sure they are safe and healthy until we can welcome visitors back. Until then, visitors can view farm antics of our favorite oinkers on our live pig cam!
