"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy,
not on fighting the old, but on building the new."

Greetings!

A big, BIG, REALLY BIG, THANK YOU, to the Colorado community for your support of At the Table Colorado in 2019! This year far exceeded expectations at every level with hosts in new regions of the state, more participants than ever and a greater diversity of topics. ATTC truly is a grassroots movement creating positive, permanent change, where ALL voices matter…where YOUR VOICE MATTERS!

Our focus for 2020 includes:

  • Art at the Table, starting with Common Threads; a conversation that brings people together over their mutual interest in knitting/crocheting, while sharing their thoughts on the most important issues of the day. Throughout the year, we will add discussions centered around a variety of other arts and crafts including poetry, photography, and drawing.

  • Continuing our successful What’s on Your Mind? community conversations, exploring topics chosen by the hosting neighborhood; 2020 discussions start in February.

So the question is: where will your energy be focused in the New Year?
Common Threads
A Community Knitting & Crocheting Conversation
Starts in January, in Castle Rock, at the Miller Library. Opening topic is What do you Think is the Most Important Issue Today? Group will meet monthly to share knitting and crocheting tips/ techniques with discussion topics chosen by the group in advance. Check the website for details in mid-January.
Sorry, this is not a knitting/crocheting class; some skill is required. Hopefully in the future we will be able to accommodate beginners with some instruction.
