Welcome to the 2025 USA Powerlifting Georgia State Championships! We are thrilled to have you join us for this exciting event taking place on February 7-9, 2025, at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia.

This year, we're taking the championship experience to the next level with the introduction of Primetime Lifting! Get ready for a high-energy showcase featuring the top lifters from across the state as they battle it out under the bright lights. Whether you’re competing in Primetime or cheering on your fellow lifters, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

New Rulebook Effective January 1, 2025

USA Powerlifting's updated Rulebook is now in effect as of January 1, 2025. All lifters and coaches are encouraged to review the new rulebook to ensure compliance with any changes. You can access the latest rulebook here. Be sure to familiarize yourself with updates to equipment regulations, weigh-in procedures, and competition rules.

NEXT STEPS

1. Check the Roster AND Competition Schedule - states.usaplgeorgia.com

Please go to the roster to and confirm your weight class and division. The Athlete Information section on website shows the competition schedule.

2. Submit Changes:

If you need to make changes to your registration (e.g., withdraw, change weight class, change/add a division or team, or submit your 2025 membership number), use the Athlete Change Form.

3. 2025 USAPL Membership :

A current 2025 USA Powerlifting membership is required to compete. If you registered without a USAPL membership, please use the Athlete Change Form to submit your membership number. We must have this by January 15th, 2025. Membership appication/renewal

3. Hotel Reservations:

Rules & Anti-Doping (Drug Tests)

This meet is sanctioned by USA Powerlifting. All USA Powerlifting technical rules will be enforced. As an athlete, it is your responsibility to learn the technical rules of competition and ensure that your equipment is approved. This also includes following anti-doping/drug testing guidelines. USA Powerlifting drug testing information can be accessed here.

As with all USA Powerlifting events, we will drug test a minimum of 10% of the lifters.

If your prescription drugs are prohibited you need to apply for exemption ASAP. Fill out the Therapeutic Use Exemption Form (TUE) HERE.
