Hello Lifters,


Only one week until you hit the platform, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our goal is to give you the best meet experience so you can perform at your best.


This final week can be a mix of excitement and nerves, but the best way to stay calm is to be prepared and informed. Below is some important info—please read the entire email!

Withdraw from the Competition

Please let us know if you are no longer able to compete by filling out the Athlete Change Form. This helps us maintain an organized and efficient schedule


Competition Schedule: 

Follow the link to the website-->Athlete Information page-->Schedule of Events. We will be using liftingcast for scoring. Click on the link to liftingcast for your session, find your name on the roster. Locate your Platform, Flight, and Lot number. Lot numbers will be assigned on Tuesday. Please double check these on Friday as there could be flight changes. Your day and session will not change.


Scoring: 

We will be using LiftingCast for live scoring. Share this with family, friends, coaches.

SATURDAY SUNDAY


What to Bring:

Make sure you bring a government issued ID, singlet, t-shirt, knee high socks for deadlift, membership card (can be on your phone). Here is a checklist template for you to use.


Registration/Equipment Check: (located just outside the Coaches Office , see map)

  • Lifter check-in starts 2.5 hours before lifting begins.
  • Registration is first-come, first-serve.
  • You will receive your credentials and t-shirt and session wrist band.
  • Make sure you bring everything you will wear on the platform to equipment check.


Weigh-in:

  • Weigh-ins will be conducted in the Coaches Room, lower level across from Hall 1.
  • The weigh-in order is by lot number (called by name).
  • You need your photo ID, Rack Heights, and Openers in kg in order to weigh in. If you are not present and in line to weigh in when called, you will go to the end of the line.
  • The most you can wear to weigh-in is singlet, t-shirt, and socks. Youth must weigh-in in a singlet, t-shirt (optional), and socks. There are no exceptions.
  • Coaches/Parents/Guardians are welcome to remain with the athlete through weigh-in process.


Competition Area:

  • We are using an ER rack on the platform.
  • USAPL code of conduct will be enforced.
  • Please keep the language clean on the platform.
  • Sniffing ammonia or slapping lifters must be done out of site behind the platform banner.
  • Coaches need to stay in coach box area.
  • NO FILMING allowed from the coach box area.


Warm-up Area:

  • The warm-up area is located in Hall 1 behind the platform. There will be a person monitoring access. Only lifters and coaches for that session will be allowed entry.
  • USAPL code of conduct will be enforced. Please Re-rack your weights!
  • There are 4 warm-up platforms with ER combo racks.
  • Warm-up weights are all Kilograms.
  • For safety reasons and to keep the area clean, please only use baby powder on carpet in designated areas.


Rack Heights:

  • There will be 4 platforms in the warmup room with ER racks which can be used to get your rack heights.
  • Rack heights are not required to weigh-in but we must have them before start of the meet. Having your rack heights submitted is your responsibility.
  • All ER racks are the same. If you know your ER rack heights please submit them now on liftingcast. SATURDAY SUNDAY
  • There will be QR codes in the warm up area for you to use to submit your rack heights.


Coaches

  • Coaches need to show proof of coach pass purchase at registration and sign in next to your lifter name to receive the corresponding session wristband.
  • Coaches need to register for each session.
  • Only one coach/handler per athlete allowed in warmup area. (two for equipped lifters)
  • Team registration fee includes 1 coach badge good for the entire weekend.  
  • Lifters who are coaching in a different session will be required to purchase a coach pass.
  • Only Lifters and Coaches for the current session will be allowed in warm-up room.


Photography/Videography

Stellar Shots will be providing photo and video packages for this event. See more details on the State Meet Website and the link below. NO personal photo/video persons will be allowed beyond the stanchions protecting the platform area or in the warm up room.

Food: 

Athletes can bring whatever food needed for meet day. There won't be any food concessions available on the premises.



AMERICAN RECORDS

USA Powerlifting American Records can be set at this meet!

You can check current records at https://usapl.liftingdatabase.com


If you know you will be attempting an American Record, fill out this quick form, American Records. This will ensure we have the National referees in place ahead of time. Thank you!


Please read the following to ensure you get credit for you record attempt.

  1. It is your responsibility to notify the scoring table that the attempt you selected is an American Record.
  2. This must be done when attempt is handed in to scoring table.
  3. There must be a National level referee or higher in all three judging seats in order for your record to count.
  4. The scoring table will have your American Record Application form. After your session, you will need to come to scoring table and sign this form. You must show birth certificate or Government issued Photo ID when setting: Youth, Teen, Junior, or Masters records.

SPECTATORS & COACHES


Spectator Tickets are $20 per day.

Children under 10 are FREE.


Coach Passes are $25 per session.

Lifters and Staff are FREE.


Tickets can be purchased in advance online or Cash at the door.


Everyone will receive a wristband upon entry. Your wristband allows for same day re-entry.

APPROVED ATTIRE

All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or singlet, shoes, t-shirt for squat and bench, knee high socks for deadlift, t-shirt is optional for deadlift.


Please review the rulebook for equipment specifications so that there are no surprises during equipment check. We will be adhering to the apparel policy as outlined in section 3 of the Rulebook. If you have a question about specific logos please read this policy.

WITHDRAW

If you know you are will not be competitng, please complete the Athlete Change Form. This will help us plan the best flight situation for the remaining athletes.
