The Lady Falcons are standing at 5-2-3

The Lady Falcons proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by four) against and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Esparto Spartans 1-0. Vacaville Christian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests. Their one-goal win came courtesy of Stella Gonzales (pictured below), who's now up to eight this season.

Vacaville Christian is probably headed into the contest against Highlands (1st) with a chip on their shoulder considering Woodland Christian just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Vacaville Christian have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

The Boys Get their First Win of the Season against Esparto!

The Falcons never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. This was a revenge game for Vacaville Christian: when they faced off against Esparto back in December they had to take a 6-1 defeat. Emanuel Cox (pictured) was the driving force of Vacaville Christian's attack as he scored both of Vacaville Christian's goals in the first half. The second half of the game was all defense for the Falcons. Goalie Griffin McGrath earned Player of the Match honors after an outstanding performance. He recorded two assists from well-placed punts and secured a clean sheet in goal, making numerous key saves. Griffin’s efforts helped deliver the Falcons their first win of the season. Great job, Griffin.

Girls Basketball continues their Winning Streak this week

Vacaville Christian's victories bumped their record up to 13-4.

VCS VS Lindhurst - Elena Vizcay and Danielle Ruff lead the Lady Falcons to a victory with Elena scoring 21 points and 6 steals and Danielle Ruff scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Once again defense came through to stop Lindhurst.  Freshman Elyse Vizcay contributed on the defense end with 6 steals playing a great game to help lead the Lady falcons to a win.

VCS had won four straight home games and Jenna Glide did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Falcons claimed a resounding 53-9 win over the Highlands Scots thanks in part to Glide, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Boys Varsity Picks up 5th Win in a Row

Falcons VS Lindhurst - After trailing by as many as 18 points against Lindhurst, the Falcon defense came to life and held Lindhurst to 10 second half points to pull out the win late in the 4th quarter (52-49). .Dylan Eddings scored 22 points, Rome Cintron added 12 points and Martin Elliott led the team in rebounds with 11.

Junior Varsity Basketball

VCS beat Highlands at home of Tuesday .52-40. They also beat Lindhurst 49-25 away this past week.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Spring Soccer is just around the corner, sign up now in Final Forms. Practices begin February 2. The season is one month long, just in time to be able to participate in Track & Field in April.

MS Basketball

The Falcons fell to a strong Sierra Vista team for the second time this season despite 19 points from Nehemiah Morris, who shot 82% from the field. Free throws were the Achilles heel this night as the team finished 14% from the line.

VCS gets a big WIN against Kaiors (76-24). The boys bounced back quickly the next night after a tough loss, playing their best team basketball of the year and hitting all goals set in the pregame. The team finished with 42 rebounds, led by Nehemiah's 15 and Julian Marquez with 9. Cam Graves dished 9 assists, wowing the fans with his skill set. Caleb Chavis led the team with 19 points, hitting 4 shots from behind the arc. The highlight of the evening was Ashton Martinez who scored his first buckets of the season to finish with 7 points and 3 assists. And for the first time this season every player scored.

Boys Red Team VS Solano Christian

The game ended in a loss 30-37. They were tied 30-30 late but, couldn't finish. The boys competed hard against a faster, taller, very athletic team. We started slow-likely took them a bit for granted after previous wins. They really settled in during the second half with much better offensive flow and ball movement. Fatigue showed late, and Solano pulled out the win.

Highlights: Max led scoring with 13; Mason had another stronger rebounding night with 10 boards; Special mention to Kendall who had great energy and presence, with 4 rebounds.
