Spring Teams

Swim

Swim starts their season today at Rio Vista starting at 3:30. They also will be at Vaca High Saturday beginning at noon. They will be swimming against Vaca High, Will C Wood & Vanden. Go Falcons!

This week Varsity had a loss to Vanden (#1 in SDL) in three sets. Highlights of the game - Brian Laxamana, 3 solo blocks & Angelo Lugo 2 aces, JV was a tough match as well with scores of 18-25, 21-25. As a team we are growing every match. The next home games are Tuesday, 3/21, Woodland Christian, JV 4PM; Bear River, Varsity 5PM.

MS Boys Soccer

One way to look at progress..0- 3 loss to Golden West, Vaca Pena beat Golden West 8 - 3. Vaca Pena beat us only 3 - 0, while taking 27 shots. Siifan Ayana had a season high 13 saves, Zaylon Aldarondo had several exciting offensive opps, Rigdhen Lama excelled in effort, and Miles Cash showed outstanding effort in the new position of sweeper, as the defensive line continues to improve.

MS Girls Soccer

Tuesday, the girls team won their game, 2-1, against Vaca Pena Middle School! It was a great team effort! Bella Till had a great game scoring 2 goals, one off a nice cross from Elena Vizcay. Brooke Boettcher controlled the mid field and goal keeper, Mila Orick, made several great saves, including a great save in the final seconds of the game!
