Swim

**Relay Highlights**
* Boys 200 Freestyle Relay: William Campbell, Vincent Ferreira, Ryan Clatterbuck, and Maxum Weber dropped a full second and earned All-League honors.
* Boys 200 IM Relay: Vincent Ferreira, William Campbell, Ryan Clatterbuck, and Maxum Weber took 1st place in commanding fashion.
* Girls 400 Freestyle Relay: Victoria Thomas, Emma Gale, Alexa Termansen, and Ellie Carroll dropped a second and showed tremendous grit, placing 2nd. 
* Girls 200 IM Relay: Vanessa Gamo, Lilly Laughter, Violet Zadnik, and Emma Gale placed 3rd.
* Girls 200 Freestyle Relay: Lilly Laughter, Violet Zadnik, Vanessa Gamo, and Victoria Thomas placed 3rd.
**Individual Performances by Swimmer**
**William Campbell** – New best times in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke; key contributor to two standout relays.
**Vincent Ferreira** – New best times in the 100 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle; instrumental in two top relays.
**Ryan Clatterbuck** – Earned All-League in the 50 Freestyle (held his time) and the 100 Butterfly (held his time); strong leadership in relays.
**Maxum Weber** – New best times in the 200 Freestyle (All-League), 100 Backstroke (exhibition), and 500 Freestyle (All-League); a dominant championship meet.


Volleyball

Congratulations to the Boy's Volleyball Team for making it to the 2nd round of playoffs


Vacaville Christian proved that regular-season success can carry into the playoffs with a dominant performance on Wednesday, sweeping Vanguard College Prep 3-0.

The Falcons controlled the match from start to finish, earning set wins of 25-19, 25-19, and 27-25. While the third set was tightly contested, Vacaville Christian held strong to complete the sweep and keep Vanguard College Prep off the board.


With the victory, the Falcons continues its strong run, winning six of its last eight matches and improving to 13-12 on the season. Next up is #2 seed - Big Valley Christian of Modesto tonight at 6PM for the 2nd round of playoffs. GO Falcons!


Golf

The Falcons Clinched the League Championship in the Final Match by 30 Strokes!

Our Golf Team qualified for the Division VI Playoffs on Tuesday with a first-place finish! Woodland Christian was 30 strokes behind them for 2nd Place in the final league match.


We have six golfers advancing to compete:

  • Griffin McGrath

They will compete on May 11 at River Oaks Golf Club in Nicolaus.

Baseball

Big Fifth Inning Leads Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons Past Golden Sierra



The Falcons scored eight runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat Golden Sierra 15-1 on Tuesday. Jordan Furuli singled, scoring two runs, Liam Varty singled, scoring one run, Zachary Romeo doubled, scoring two runs, Jack Kimball singled, scoring one run, and Dylan Eddings doubled, scoring two runs.

VCS got on the board in the top of the first inning after Boston Carlton drew a walk, scoring one run, Drew Lindsey singled, scoring two runs, and Furuli drew a walk, scoring one run.


Wyatt Hedlund hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the second for the VCS. The Falcons added one run in the third. Isaac Stanley stole home, making the score 6-1. Kimball earned the win for Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons. The hurler gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking one. The starting pitcher went four innings, allowing 13 runs (12 earned) on seven hits, striking out none and walking eight. Varty and Aron Kagin each threw scoreless innings for Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons in relief.


VCS Falcons accumulated nine hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Romeo led VCS Falcons with two hits in four at bats. VCS Falcons had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Hedlund and Kimball led the team with two bases on balls each. Stanley and Lindsey each stole multiple bases for the Falcons. VCS ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game. Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons turned one double play in the game.




Softball

Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons beat Golden Sierra 9-6 on Tuesday.


A single by Daisy Stafford on a 3-0 count put Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons on the board in the top of the first.

The Falcons added one run in the second. Elena Vizcay singled down the right field line, making the score 3-1 and added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Elyse Vizcay grounded out, and Emily Edgar singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Golden Sierra captured the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the third when Lucy Miller singled, scoring one run, Hailey Hulsey induced Tessa Hill to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, and Marina Howell singled, scoring one run.

A passed ball gave Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons the lead, 6-5, in the top of the fourth.

Hulsey earned the win. The righty surrendered eight hits and seven runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out two and walking one.

Edgar and Hulsey each collected three hits. Juliana Prothro and Stafford were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons. Vizcay collected two hits for Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons in four at bats. Vizcay, Madison Lindsey, and Hulsey each stole multiple bases for Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons. Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons worked the count all day, piling up five walks. Vacaville Christian Varsity Falcons ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 12 stolen bases for the game.
