VCHS Spring Highlights

Steven Dingman signs Air Force Academy Certificate of Intent!

Please join us in congratulating VCHS Senior Steve Dingman as he signed his Certificate of Intent to attend the Air Force Academy in the Fall. Steve will further his athletic pursuits by playing baseball for the AF. His VCHS family sends congratulations and blessings of protection to Steve!

BASEBALL

Team Celebrating the Win!

The season has ended for our Varsity team. The team advanced to the 2nd round playoff best of 3 series against Argonaut. On Monday they traveled to Argonaut where they lost 5-1and 2 days later, we had a home game and came away with a 5-3 win to stay alive in playoffs. They headed back to Argonaut on Thursday for game 3 and had a tough 5-4 loss.

Fantastic T&F season for our Falcons! Although no Falcons moved on to Masters, it wasn't due to lack of effort. Here are the final rankings for Division 5

•400M - Ranked #2 (53.01) New PR & #5 All-Time @ VCHS

•Long Jump - Ranked #12 (18'2") *His PR would've won D5 & finish 2nd in D4, still #3 All-Time @ VCHS

☆DeShawn Seymour

•100M - Ranked #3 (11.30) *His PR of (11.04) would've won both D4 & D5

•200M - Ranked #3 (23.42) *His PR of (22.56) would've won both D4 & D5 & #2 & #4 respectively All-Time @ VCHS

•Long Jump - Ranked #5 (16'5") *Her PR (17'1") would've advanced and #1 All-Time @ VCHS

SOFTBALL

SEASON ENDS for Girl's Softball. They had a great season with a 9-4 overall and 9-0 record in SDL League this year. They lost to Riverbank in the 1st Round of CIF Sections Playoffs.

VOLLEYBALL

Men's Volleyball coached the Jr. Falcons this year!

This year we had 51 Jr. Falcon Volleyball players, 3rd-5th grade. The kids had so much fun learning from the guys and building relationships. We also had 10 boys signup for the program, which is the most we have ever had. Our volleyball program looks very bright for the future! A special Thank You to Isabella Linton who helped faithfully with the program as well.

MS TRACK

Our Middles School Track team is having an impressive season! Our girls team placed 2nd and the boys team placed 4th at last week's track meet. They are competing in the NSAL league which includes all of the local area schools, that are much larger such as Jepson, Vaca Pena and Golden West! Way to go Falcons!
