POWER UP-DATE

Last month, on our POWER UP SATURDAY during MLK Weekend,

we celebrated the life and work of Sister Corita Kent.

Thank you to Larry Miller (for framing our Power Up), Ellen Gadberry (for a wonderful art talk) and Jan (for bringing us together to celebrate Sister Corita).

Our POWER UP Food Drive was a success!

We contributed canned goods and pantry items to Toco Hills Community Alliance, a 501(c)3 non-profit providing emergency food supplies to individuals and families, including those experiencing homelessness.

A Love Letter to our Customers

When we say "We love our customers" we meant it

Dear Book Lover,

We love to hear you say "Ahhh" when you walk through our door

Day in and day out

"This is my happy place"

"It smells wonderful in here"

"Please don't ever go away"

"Mmmmm... old books" *deep inhale*

We love

when you visit on your birthday

your wedding anniversary

or on a random rainy Tuesday

When you purchase a gift card for your mother

for your daughter's teacher

as a wedding gift for the couple who had visited our shop on their first date

And the millions of kitty-cuddles

And when you wish us a "Happy Caturday!"

And when you bring kitty treats

And when you share your cat photos

so many cat photos

We do love you

each and every one of you
