A rare copy, inscribed and signed by James Baldwin to Bobby Sharp and his mother, Eva. Jazz pioneer Bobby Sharp wrote his classic 1964 composition “Blues for Mr Charlie” as a tribute to the groundbreaking play, loosely based on the 1955 murder of Emmett Till. 

The song was made famous by Sammy Davis Jr. on his 1965 album Our Shining Hour, which featured the Count Basie Orchestra.

Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the American jazz-rock band Blood, Sweat & Tears, featuring hits such as "You've Made Me So Very Happy" and "Spinning Wheel." Columbia initially chose to incorporate the edited single versions of many of the songs, a decision which was poorly received by fans. Later compact disc releases replaced the single versions with the full-length album versions.
