CBWW and friends conquer Stone Mountain on March 2, 2013.  See more photos of our fitness conquest by visiting us on Facebook- www.facebook.com/CBWWAtlanta
The trek up Stone Mountain two weeks ago began as a cold one as clients, supporters and staff from the Center for Black Women's Wellness (CBWW) motivated each other to reach the top! After everyone conquered the mountain, they were thinking different thoughts but we all shared the common sentiment that, "We did it!"

CBWW continues its journey toward inspiring group
fitness through its Operation Mountain T.O.P.-- Taking on Possibilities-- a fitness challenge to climb to the top of Stone Mountain!  CBWW invites you and your girlfriends to join us as we gear up for Round #2 this Saturday, Mar. 16 at 11:00am.  The CBWW group is meeting at the parking lot on Main Street at 10:00am.  To join us, please RSVP to Keri Pridgeon via email keri@cbww.org or by calling 404-688-9202 ext. 124.

We welcome you into our mission to be fit!

See what a few participants had to say after reaching the mountain
T.O.P.!

"I climbed the mountain by myself because I arrived before the group came.  The journey by myself without a support group was a little lonely, but when I finally reached the top it was a pretty liberating experience because it was kind of scary at first. I had never climbed a mountain before.  When I saw the group coming up on my way down and Keri said "Come on let's do it again!" that motivated me to climb it again!" ~ Tiana Allen

"I felt surprised that it wasn't a harder climb. Because it was so cold, that made it a little harder, but it was still easier than I thought. I am physically fit so that helped."  ~ Regina Alexander

"I felt like I conquered Stone Mountain! I've climbed bigger mountains before but this was my first time climbing Stone Mountain and it got a little steep at one point. I was scared but I'm happy that I kept going and finished it." ~ Gladys Brown
