art movement psychoanalysis
Greetings Everyone! We are back in historic West Midtown!
I am very pleased to be back on Atlanta's West Side which has been Atlanta Yoga's home since the early 90s. We are now located at 892 Jefferson St NW, 30318 in Blue Mark Studios. The new space is home to Atlanta Yoga, my private practice in psychoanalysis/applied psychoanalysis, and an art studio. (For those of you who don't know, I am currently working on an MFA in sculpture and extended media at the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art).
Atlanta Yoga is offering 5 weekly classes including Ashtanga Foundations on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Ashtanga Improv on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. and led Primary or Second Series Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us and I will share the details of our weekly class registration with you.
I am now accepting new patients for applied psychoanalysis and psychoanalysis and I continue to offer individual yoga therapy and somatic psychotherapy sessions. While I will no longer be offering yoga teacher training or yoga therapy training groups I will continue to work with individuals who wish to refine their teaching or therapy practices. These courses of study and inquiry are tailored to the particular needs and desires of the individual teacher/therapist and provide a means of engaging the practices of teaching and the therapeutic relationship simply not possible in group settings.
Moving forward I will be shutting down this email list which dates back to the 90s! We will begin another email list for those interested in the practice of and research into art, movement, and psychoanalysis. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the new list by emailing me at atlantayoga@atlantayoga.com or responding to this email.
Best,
Elizabeth
