Celebrating their 31st year, Dragon Con returns this Labor Day weekend. Dragon Con is the largest multimedia, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film in the world. The Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell  Sundays on the River Concerts  series has been taking place the second Sunday of each month.  See Bob Bakert and his 6-piece band Sunday, September 10 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the final concert of the summer.   Enjoy a night out with families and friends listening to soothing live music on the river.

The Great Atlanta Beer Fest moves this year from Turner Field to Suntrust Park on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 1-5pm. There will be over 150 beers to sample from the Southeast and across the country plus ciders and over 25 wines.  The festival will take place inside the stadium using the concourse, both levels of the Chop House, and the games of "The Sandlot" (kids zone) will be open to beer fest patrons.  College Football will be on the big screens in the outfield as well as the TVs in the Chop House and around the concourse. There will be live music with the Geeks Band and a DJ dance party with everyone's favorite, DJ Qtip.  Festival Tickets are $45 advance, $50 after Sept. 28, and $60 day of event.  The First 500 tickets will be just $35 .
