The 26th Annual AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is Sunday, October 16 in Piedmont Park. The event begins in the Meadow at Piedmont Park as the route travels through Midtown and returns to Piedmont Park. This event has grown to be the largest AIDS-related fundraising event in the Southeast, with nearly 10,000 registered participants raising over $1 million in previous years.
The Brookhaven Arts Festival showcases more than 125 artists featuring works of fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and more. Musical performances take place over the two days. On Sunday from 1 - 4PM there will be a car show with children's activities and food trucks throughout the weekend.
