As the largest fair in metro Atlanta, the North Georgia State Fair attracts nearly 300,000 people every year from North Georgia and neighboring states. The fair features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, flower shows, blue ribbon competitions, local entertainment, and delicious fair foods.  Headlining the Georgia Lottery Concert Series this year are: Colton Dixon (Friday, 9/22), Lauren Alaina (Saturday, 9/23), Trace Adkins (Wednesday, 9/27), Colt Ford (Thursday, 9/28), Chris Janson (Friday, 9/29) and Zach Seabaugh (Saturday 9/30). All concerts begin at 8 p.m. and are free with fair admission.  Admission to the fair is $7.00; Children 10 and under are free.  Ride tickets are $1.25 each with packages available. Discounted fair tickets are available thru Sept. 22 at metro Atlanta Walgreens stores.

Sandy Springs largest annual event, the Sandy Springs Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday Sept 23  & 24. Take part in the Lightning 10k/5k, watch the popular Pet Parade and Car Show, and enjoy the Artist Market and activities for the kids. For the first time this year the Festival is being offered FREE of charge.

East Atlanta Strut is back for its 20th year this Saturday, September 23 1 1am - 9pm. This free one-day extravaganza showcases the city's hottest in-town neighborhood! Enjoy Live Music, Artist Market, Game Area, Food Trucks and alcohol for purchase. Leave the car at home. Parking will be limited to neighborhood streets, so take public transport or ride a bike.

Imagine Music Festival is back this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway!  Headliners include Above and Beyond, deadmau5, the legendary producer Tiesto, Pretty Lights Live and Gorgon City.  Georgia-born instrumental favorites Sound Tribe Sector 9 have been added to the impressive line-up. Last year over 25,000 attendees jammed the site, enjoying the central music stage as well as art and an intriguing selection of related workshops.
