A. The workweek shall consist of five (5) workdays, Sunday through Saturday, in a pre-established schedule. Each work shift shall consist of seven and one-half hours (7 ½) inclusive of one-half hour (1/2) unpaid lunch and one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid break for the employees of the Division of Public Health, and eight and one-half (8 ½) hours inclusive of one-half hour (1/2) unpaid lunch and one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid break for the employees of the Division of Resident Service with a pre-established meal schedule.
B. The workweek for Public Health Nurses shall be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, inclusive of one-half (1/2) hour for lunch and one (1) fifteen-minute paid break unless the employer and employee work out a flexible time schedule. Employees shall have the option to flex time, accrue compensatory time, or be paid at the overtime rate.
