RETURN TO TWO SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

We will return to two worship services on August 18, and Pastor Zac have returned from sabbatical and be back in the pulpit!


Students of any age, and educators as well, may bring your backpacks and receive a blessing as the new school year begins!

Join us after worship for food and fun with your Atonement family as we prepare to kick off our fall season. We are grilling burgers and ask that our church family bring a side of your choice to share. We will also have a foam party, so be sure to bring your swimsuits if you plan to play in the foam!

Altar Guild meetings will begin again on August 27 and meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM in the Sunshine Room. If you would like to be a part of the Alter Guild and assist with preparing the altar for worship, please contact Jade Scarlett at jescarlett@hotmail.com.

FALL SUNDAY SCHOOL MORNING TEAM NEEDS YOU!


Sunday School is coming back this fall beginning Sept 8! We’ll need a wonderful team of people to share their faith and God’s stories with our young brothers and sisters. We need people for large group opening, class leaders, supply team, décor team and Funday Sunday coordinators. ELCA NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING SUCCESS!


75 local youth (including several of our own) journeyed to New Orleans, Louisiana for the ELCA National Youth Gathering July 16 - July 23. Drew Renollet and Pastor Jordan were on the trip as well.


It was a Spirit-filled week of service, worship, spiritual growth and building friendships.

NO YOUTH "HANG TIME" IN AUGUST

There will not be a high school and middle school student “Hang Time” in August. Look for them to resume this fall.

AUGUST "FEED THE NEED" BROOKRIDGE ELEMENTARY SUPPLY DRIVE


To help the staff and teachers at Brookridge Elementary School prepare for the coming school year, we are collecting a variety of much-needed items: a variety of snacks to keep on hand in classrooms... and school supplies for their students... that the school offers for families who don’t always have the resources to purchase.

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT IN AN ELECTION YEAR
