SUMMER MINISTRY UPDATE
Summer is upon us, and we hope your family is enjoying all the season has to offer!
While summer worship services have lower attendance due to family activities and vacations, Atonement’s vibrant ministries continue to thrive.
Our Outreach Ministry is providing food and housing to those in need and strives for equity and justice in the community. Our KFaM and YFaM Ministries are nurturing the spiritual growth of our children, youth, and families through VBS, camps, participation in service projects, and supporting parents through access to our nursery. Our Care Ministry is supporting those going through life’s challenges and helping us lift others up in prayer. Our Worship and Music Ministries are providing opportunities for us to praise and worship God with our voices and are nurturing the musical talents of all age groups. We also offer community groups a safe space to meet using our campus and provide a wonderful venue for community concerts.
Thanks to your generosity, we can generally embrace every opportunity to serve in these ways. We believe each household is uniquely blessed to contribute to God's work through Atonement; willingly and joyfully, rather than out of obligation.
As we see giving fall behind during the summer months, and consider our increasing operating costs, we ask each household to take a few moments this week to look at where you are. How has God blessed you? How are you expressing your gratitude? What could your response be in the next few weeks?
Atonement leadership has unwavering faith in God’s calling to do ministry within and beyond our walls. We also have faith in God’s people, including you, to provide the monetary support necessary to sustain our many ongoing ministries.
Thank you in advance as we continue to do ministry together through the summer!
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Jordan (jordans@atoneluth.org) or Keith Mundy (keith.mundy12@gmail.com)

PZ REACHED HIS KATY TRAIL GOAL! | |
After 11 days and 225 miles on the Katy Trail, Pastor Zac reached his goal and made it to St. Charles, Missouri, on June 28th! Rumor has it his feet are intact, but he couldn't walk another mile even if he had to. Way to go, Pastor Zac!
Now he's off to spend a time of renewal with family and friends (starting with a Cardinals game or two of course). We look forward to seeing him back here at Atonement in August and hearing the stories from his sabbatical.
Please keep PZ in your prayers. Click the button below to check out all of his Katy Trail postcards.
