 Small Business Resilience Outreach

Take advantage of a new opportunity related to   Small Business Resilience and Risk Reduction. Given our vulnerability to being impacted by extreme weather events, your area of the state has been selected as a pilot area to dig deeper and better understand your specific risks, experiences and recommendations on what is needed to be more resilient.

Want to get involved?  Please click here to let us know how you want to engage. There are three ways to become involved in this important initiative: 1) participate in a one-hour, on-site vulnerability assessment; 2) review and provide feedback online on a draft risk reduction guide so that we can better target your needs; 3) participate in a Focus Group.

This work is part of a new project recently funded by the RI Division of Planning to prepare the state's small businesses for the impacts of extreme weather events. This project team is working with a steering committee of state leaders to assess, identify and address vulnerabilities in Rhode Island. The information gathered at these assessments will be used to develop specific Risk Reduction Guides to help small businesses become more resilient.

Check out the project website  to get more information.  We ask that you  fill out this form indicating at what level, if any, you would like to participate in this important initiative.
