BPA. Phthalates. Pesticides. Heavy Metals. These terms come to mind when learning that an alarming one trillion (1,000,000,000,000) single-use plastic bags are used worldwide every year, one hundred billion (100,000,000,000) by American consumers, and a whopping eleven million (11,000,000) in Warwick alone. In conjunction with BYOBag Warwick Week, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will offer a free program entitled: "What ' s the Bag Deal?", on Wednesday, September 30th at the Warwick Senior Center, 132 Kings Highway, from 5:30-7 p.m.
 
The BYOBag Committee of Sustainable Warwick will present a short video created by designer Christy Erfer followed by a presentation by BYOBag ambassadors Michelle Desveaux and Julia Calderon will follow.

BYOBag Warwick is a campaign of Sustainable Warwick who se mission is to inform the public and promote environmentally sound practices in our hometown.
