Bayou Teche Museum's
A Night at the Museum Gala
NEW IBERIA, La. --- The New Iberia Museum Foundation and IberiaBank present A Night at the Museum – Party With Mardi Gras Magic, Thurs., Jan. 30, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bayou Teche Museum (131 E. Main St.), Sliman Theater and a special tented area on Main Street. This year the museum is bringing back the incredible Saga of the Acadians, the collection of 15 original oil paintings by George Rodrigue.

The live auction items include a Weld Kraft Boat, motor and trailer; a weeklong stay at a private five-bedroom luxury home in Vail, Colorado; first murder mystery dinner at the Baits Motel; tickets for two to the 2021 Washington DC Mardi Gras and much more. The auctioneer for the evening is Senator Fred Mills with help from Speaker of the House, Taylor Barras.

For the first time ever, Bayou Teche Museum's supporters are able to place bids online for silent auction items at BiddingForGood.com/BTM. The auction is open now and will end on Jan. 31, 2020.

"2019 was a very productive year for the Bayou Teche Museum, said Museum Director Marcia Patout. "We are working hard to continue funding the transformation of the adjacent wing and will continue this growth and expansion thanks to the support of the generous community. We have already installed the new canopy and have begun work on phase one renovations inside."

For gala ticket and general information, please call the museum at (337) 606-5977 or email [email protected]. Visit their Facebook and website for updates.
