More About This Workshop

This multi-part workshop, taught by WSU Environmental Finance Center facilitators, includes four pre-recorded videos, which can be viewed at your convenience, and two live Zoom sessions that will give attendees the ability to interact with trainers and peers, and experience “hands-on” learning that can be applied to their grant writing opportunities.

Topics covered include:
  • Finding appropriate grant funding
  • How to plan and develop an effective grant proposal
  • Ensuring your organization’s goals and missions align with potential funders
  • Grant writing tips and advice

Guest speaker Karen Lollman, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, will give specific advice on how to apply for KDHE grant funds for household hazardous waste, solid waste and waste tire products.
