2022 Friendsgiving Attendee Information
We can't wait to have you join us this Sunday, November 13th for Friendsgiving 2022, presented by Replacements, Ltd. As you prepare to celebrate with us, we wanted to ensure you had all the info you needed to come out and have a great time!

*This email has been sent to each attendee who had an email address on file with us for this event. If you booked a table reservation or purchased multiple tickets for your party and did not provide individual emails for each guest, please forward this message along so folks have all the information they need.

As a reminder, the event will take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at LeBauer Park on the UNCG Great Lawn on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Clothing: Dress comfortably for the weather! We are anticipating colder evening temperatures. The tent will be heated for dinner, but coats and gloves are encouraged for the outdoor portions of the event. This is not a formal event - cozy and casual Fall attire is encouraged - think sweaters, corduroy, flannel, and suede. The event will take place on a grassy surface, so high heeled shoes are not recommended.

Parking: We encourage attendees to park in the Church St. parking deck located at 215 N. Church Street. Please use THIS PASS to access parking in this deck free of charge. Free overflow parking is available in the Elon Law Lot located directly across the street from the entrance to the Church St. parking deck. This lot is located at 208 N. Church St., at the corner of Church St. and Friendly Ave. and is surrounded by a fence. The owners of this lot have given us permission to use this space as needed for guest parking, free of charge and without a pass.

If you have not yet identified any dietary restrictions, please do so promptly so that we may best accommodate your needs. As this is a family-style dinner, our chefs have done their best to prepare the menu to accommodate a wide variety of diets, but must be notified in advance of any severe allergies or restrictions.

Please also plan to inform your server on the night-of, in addition to notifying us in advance by emailing Amanda Miller at [email protected] by end of day on Friday, November 11th.
Win BIG
We are so excited to present a lineup of incredible items and opportunities to entice a friendly competition of spirited giving at our Friendsgiving Auction! Bring your wallet and prepare to bid on items ranging in value from $350 to over $5,000. You will have the opportunity to see the items and place your bids throughout cocktail hour and dinner before the winners are announced. Payment for auction items will be collected at the event - we can accept payment by winners in the form of check or credit/debit card.

Help Us Reach Our Goal
Friendsgiving is not just an opportunity to celebrate, but a way to build a community of support for your downtown parks. One goal of this event is that each attendee will become a Friend of the Park by the end of the night. This is our membership-level giving program that starts as low as $5/month or $60/year.

All attendees who are current Friends of the Park or become one at Friendsgiving will be acknowledged with a special badge of pride that identifies their commitment to meaningful placemaking in our community and support of vital urban greenspaces.

Want to get a head start on becoming a Friend of the Park or reupping your membership for 2022?
