Dear Operator Members:

As you know, today is the last day for motorcoach operators to apply for a CERTS grant. However, for applicants looking to amend or update an application you already submitted, please note the following:
Due to the pending deadline, the Treasury Department will NO LONGER re-open applications, as it poses a risk to the applicant. INSTEAD, the Treasury Department advises taking the following action:
 
1. Submit an email to CERTS@Treasury.gov.
 
2. Include in the email the following information:

a. Your CERTS grant application number
 
b. Your company name and contact information
 
c. A brief explanation on why you need to modify the application and include all relevant information.

Further, if you need to update or correct information in the application, then spell out this detailed information in the email.

If you forgot to upload (or need to upload corrected) forms, explain this in the email. Be sure to identify the form and attach the updated or missing forms to your email.
 
If the Treasury Department has any questions regarding the application or request to correct/update it, they will contact you the applicant via direct email, even after the Application Portal closes. I would like to thank ABA for bringing this change-handling update to my attention this afternoon.
