In January of 2022, I joined the Metairie Bank Board of Directors in Louisiana. The bank was founded by local businessmen on February 15, 1947. Serving on the board has been a continuous learning experience about the banking industry, regulatory landscape, risk management, and other critical aspects of running a financial institution. More importantly, it is the people of Metairie Bank that make it an amazing financial institution.
