Set in a historic district in the middle of New Orleans, the American Can Company Apartments is an adaptive-use project that has transformed a long-vacant and decaying landmark industrial complex into a vibrant apartment community with neighborhood commercial amenities. The former factory complex now contains 268 apartments—20 percent of which are set aside for low- and moderate-income residents. Key Real Estate based in New Orleans purchased the property in early April 2023. Sources could not disclose the full purchase price, although The Orleans Parish Clerk of Court shows Key borrowed $44.45 million to finance the deal.

Breakfast and lunch favorite, Ruby Slipper restaurant leased 4,000 square feet at Clearview Commons at 4236 Veterans Memorial Boulevard. This is Ruby Slipper's 5th location in the New Orleans Metro Area. SRSA represented the Landlord in the transaction.

Home furnishings retailer Arhaus will make its debut later this year at Lakeside Shopping Center. The Ohio-based luxury furniture chain operates more than 80 stores nationwide. The new 14,000-square-foot showroom, which will be located next to Dillard’s, will feature an assortment of furniture and décor that is “sustainably sourced, artisan crafted, and built to last,” said an Arhaus spokesperson. LINK TO ARTICLE
