Yes, tomorrow is Christmas. Hard to believe.
Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas and what we celebrate. It is so easy to get caught up in the parties, gift giving and the sharing of good times that we forget the true meaning.
Over 2000 years ago, a baby was born. He never became president. He never owned a large home. He was never the richest man in the world nor invented some great product. . He shared a simple message of love, compassion and hope. Few, if any of us, know who the famous people in the world were during his time on earth let alone what they accomplished.
Jesus, however, is known and followed as an example of a life well lived by billions of people throughout the world. Those of us who are Christians recognize him as our Savior and our hope and attempt to follow his teachings. Most non-Christians still believe he was a great man and follow a significant number of his teachings.
Let us keep Christ in Christmas.
