Attorney Spotlight: Why I Volunteer
Daphne Hoyt
Daphne Hoyt is a new attorney but not new to helping people. Daphne was a nurse for 30 years before deciding to go to law school so she could have more tools to assist clients needing a helping hand.

Daphne began volunteering and regularly assists at both VLB’s Civil and Domestic Relations Help Desks.

“I volunteer because so many people do not have the resources to afford legal help,” Daphne says. “I am able to do small things here at the Help Desks that make a big difference.”
