2018 SUMMER READING PROGRAM:
"LIBRARIES ROCK!"
JUNE 9-AUGUST 11
KICK-OFF
SATURDAY, JUNE 9
Get ready for another great summer reading program at the Auburn Hills Public Library! Opportunities to read, win prizes, and attend great programs await patrons of all ages! For information on participating in our Summer Reading Program, please see staff in Adult Services or Youth/Teen Services.
THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4
AHPL Resources Highlight
The Library has many great resources available to its patrons. Here are a few we've chosen to highlight.
Discover Our New Catalog
On May 29, the Library upgraded to a new shared online catalog and checkout system called CARL. In addition to the features you loved about our former catalog, the new system offers easier searching, more relevant results, a kids' catalog, innovative account features, effortless integration with eBooks and eAudio, and a new mobile catalog. After May 29, library PINs were restricted to six numbers or less. Any patrons who currently have a PIN that contains letters, or are larger than six numbers, will be assigned the last four digits of their phone numbers. When logging into your account in the new catalog, you will also have the option to create an EZ username and password.
MelCat Updates
Beginning April 1 to approximately September 2018, library patrons will be unable to utilize MelCat to borrow materials. This is due to a migration to a new library automation system. During that time, we will make every effort to locate materials within our own TLN network of libraries.
