The 12th season of the Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) program kicks off May 24, 2019. Sponsored by The Library Network, MAP made its debut in Fall 2007, and now includes every public library in the state of Michigan, and 440 cultural partner destinations. For
2019-2020, TLN and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will add six new destinations to the MAP program. To use MAP, all you need is an active library card. For more information on how to use MAP and a list of participating institutions, click here .

It's Elementary

Join us for hands-on exploration at the
Library! Each week we will learn about a new subject and then create and experiment with activities based around this topic. Check the calendar or visit the Library to learn about the theme will be covering each week! Our first week, we'll be practicing coding and learning how to turn a banana into a musical instrument.

Rock 'N Rhyme
(Ages up to 18 months with a caregiver)

Babies up to 18 months with a parent or caregiver will enjoy about 20 minutes of nursery rhymes, songs, stories, and bubbles, followed by free play for those who wish to stay. We will often have fun with instruments or scarves, too! Rock ‘N Rhyme is a great opportunity to meet other caregivers and their babies in a relaxing and supportive environment. Preschool Storytime

Family Storytime

Storytime and activities will be geared towards ages 0-6.

Bring your whole family for our Saturday morning storytime! This program will feature books, songs, activities, and a craft. This program is meant to be time for the whole family to enjoy the Library. It will occasionally feature guest presenters and themed activities.

Family LEGO Club

American Sign Language Club-Basic

 This program will cover the basics of American Sign Language, and will be run by a student teacher from Madonna University. The basic session of the program is intended as an introduction; participants will be introduced to sign language through games, crafts, and educational activities.
