AUBURN HILLS PUBLIC LIBRARY SEPTEMBER 2019
September Happenings
Message from the Director Regarding Building Improvements:

Through the years, the Auburn Hills Public Library has aged, and many parts of the building are showing it. We strive for safety and an overall pleasant experience when you visit your library.

Over the next few years, AHPL will be getting a makeover.

Phase 1 begins this fall, with much-needed improvements to the adult area and main hallway. Fresh paint will replace the fading and worn wallpaper. New carpeting, lighting and seating will be added to the adult area, as well as new cabling throughout the building for faster and more reliable internet access.

Due to these improvements, the Library will need to be closed to the public from Tuesday, September 3 through Monday, September 9.
(The Library will also be closed Saturday, August 31-Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day holiday.)

All checked-out materials will not be due until Tuesday, September 10.
Upon reopening, AHPL will also be launching a new website.

We appreciate your patience and support as we improve your library.

Sincerely,
Lawrence Marble
Library Director
