CLE INFORMATION:

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is an Accredited CLE Provider in California and New York, and this course will qualify for both newly admitted (transitional) and experienced attorneys (non-transitional). We will apply for CLE credit in Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. Please join us for an evening of education and entertainment with your friends at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., and Steeplechase Advisors, LLC.

Panel members will discuss sales of real and personal property in receiverships, bankruptcies, and assignments for the benefit of creditors, pursuant to Chapters 576 and 577 of the Minnesota Statutes and Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Panelists will discuss the possibilities and pitfalls of asset sales, from the varying perspectives of the receiver, the debtor, and creditors.

The evening will conclude with a reception and simulated auction for charity, where participants may cast bids (either by check or with cash) on horses, and following the auction, watch a Steeplechase race. All bids will be donated to local charities. _______________________________________
