Message from President
Billie Araiza
Greetings!

I hope all of you are getting to enjoy the little things this summer. We have a few little things for our club members to enjoy this week. We have a change of location for this week's coffee get together. This Wednesday, I will be hosting our club's backyard coffee at 9 am at my house. These little coffee gatherings are always enjoyable and provide our club members a safe way to visit while still social distancing.

Sunday, August 23rd, at 11 am, we will all have the opportunity to attend our club installation at Merlo Park in Stirling City. It’s about a 45-minute drive up Skyway from Chico, which means it will be cooler in the mountains. Please remember to bring your own chair, food, beverage, face mask, and hand-sanitizer. I am pleased to announce that our new Region Governor, Sarah Carrasco, will be joining us and conducting the installation ceremony for our incoming club officers. We will also have the pleasure of meeting our new Region District One Director, Kerri Cobb, at our installation. I’m looking forward to getting to see everyone there, while still being mindful of all the social distancing protocols.

This will certainly be a year of enjoying the little things, maybe we will all look back at the end of the club year and realize some of these things, really were the “BIG” things.

With gratitude,

President Billie

We still have 3 meeting dates available for guest speakers. If you have an idea to suggest, please run it by Pres. Billie first, if she agrees, let me know so we can reserve a date on our meeting calendar.

Dates still available are: Oct. 21, Dec. 16 and May 12

At this time I am uncertain as to our protocol. Our meeting may remain via Zoom. Please be aware of that when discussing details with potential speakers.

Thanks,
