After successful seasons of the popular hotel transformation series, Travel Channel is expanding Anthony's role to include two new shows, “Hotel Impossible: Five Star Secrets” and “Hotel Impossible: Showdown.” Throughout Anthony Melchiorri's meteoric career he has consistently proven that nothing is impossible and the only limitation is lack of imagination.

A Conversation with Eduardo Santander PHD will be held beginning at 10:00 AM (EDT) on Thursday, September 3.
Eduardo Santander is the Executive Director of the European Travel Commission (ETC), an association of National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) created in 1948 to promote Europe as a tourism destination. In this role, Mr Santander steers ETC’s activities aimed at building the value of tourism for the countries of Europe through cooperation in sharing best practices, market intelligence and promotion.
Under his leadership, ETC has extended its membership to private organisations and academia with the launch of the Associate Membership Programme and developed a long-term strategic partnership with the European Commission for the promotion of Destination Europe in long-haul markets.

2021 NORTH AMERICAN SKÅL CLUBS CONGRESS

Skål International Orlando is busy at work planning your 2021 NASC Congress in sunny Orlando, Florida. From May 13-16, 2021, “Fun In The Sun Orlando ‘21” will give Skålleagues from the U.S., Canada and Mexico and their families the perfect opportunity to conduct business among friends, network and discover or re-discover what makes Orlando and Central Florida world famous for its hospitality and travel and tourism experiences

Skål International USA Chapters have mostly stayed in touch through Digital Technology via Zoom, Go to Meeting, YouTube and other new technology. These visual platforms have been around for a while, but never have seen the use since March 2020. The COVID-19 Pandemic caused clubs throughout the United States to pause their in-person meeting. While many clubs are beginning to meeting under strict Pandemic guidelines, the majority of the clubs may take a little more time. By the Holiday Season most clubs will be back to meeting in person.

Jobs lost, business lost and sadly lives lost!!! The news on TV and in the newspaper is almost always bad news. What we need now is good news. Some inspiration to help us through this continuing misery.
