Mark Jensen Honored at NACCC Conference
Rev. Dr. Cindy Bacon Hammer, Chair, Board of Directors
|
|
The Annual Meeting and Conference is over and now it is back to work for the NACCC Board of Directors! At the meeting we were honored to present the Board of Directors Citation to Rev. Dr. Mark Jensen for his service to the NACCC, as well as the local church. It is always a pleasure to recognize those who have gone above and beyond.
Next on the agenda for us will be continuing our work from June on how to build stronger relationships with our churches. Within that context, one of the main tasks will be to find intentional and consistent ways to let the local church know what the NACCC has to offer and how the Association can support them in ministry.
If you have any suggestions on how we can better serve our local churches,
please let us know

Enhancing Music In Our Churches
Rev. Dr. Tom Richard, NACCC Executive Secretary, 2001-2013
The
John Richard Memorial Endowment
, named in memory of my youngest brother, was created to honor the memory of this special person in the lives of the Richard family. This Endowment resides in the Congregational Foundation, and each year dollars earned from this fund are awarded to small NACCC churches in support of music and arts events.
In April, People’s Congregational Church of Bayport, MN, Suttons Bay Congregational Church of Sutton, MI, and First Congregational Church of Mukwonago, WI, were awarded with funding from the Richard Endowment.
You too could provide a memorial or legacy gift to the Congregational Foundation which would benefit NACCC member churches in creative ways. Contact
Debby Fulton
for more information.
