On June 17, the Racial Justice Task Team of the NACCC held its first meeting. Ten of us shared our hopes and pondered our purpose. We shared ideas, listened and we learned. It was a fruitful meeting. We are all humbled to be a part of this essential work for our churches, our country and our world.

We were inspired to meet more regularly than every month and will most likely meet every two weeks with our next meeting set for July 30th. Since there are so many avenues to explore, we decided to split into sub-groups once all of our ideas are placed into individual categories. We are hoping to provide resources to educate, create safe places for dialogue, use both print and video, offer discussion starters, and find ways to provide healing to our hurting world.

If you have any ideas for the task team, or would like to join us, please contact me directly.
