For tax returns extended in the spring, it's time to get all your documents to us for finishing up! Here are our deadlines for submitting them to our office:

AUGUST 1 - for LLCs, Partnerships, November year-end corporations, and S-corporations

AUGUST 15 - for Trusts

SEPTEMBER 1 - for Indivduals and December year-end corporations

OCTOBER 1 - for Non-profits

If you haven't yet signed up, now is the time! With your own Client Portal, you can access your tax returns, see recent activity, pending tasks, and firm information. You can also send and receive documents, distribute K-1s, and review your tax payments or pay your vouchers.

Remember that there is a green link to securely and easily sign up for the portal at the bottom of every email from your Tax Manager. Follow the prompts and you will get an access code sent to your email address. You can also create a PIN for accessing your portal on a different device; however, tablets or mobile devices are not currently compatible.

This is another helpful account to set up! Using ID.me to ensure the security of your data, an IRS online account provides 24/7 access to your tax information, including tax returns, transcripts, wage and income records, and copies of certain IRS notices. You can also manage payments, set up payment plans, track refunds, and request an Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) to prevent identity theft related to tax filings.

To help us out, you can also authorize your Tax Manager to call the IRS on your behalf or view your tax records with a Power of Attorney request within your IRS online account.

For IRS Business Tax Accounts, the IRS has just announced that a business's designated official who accesses the online account must revalidate it by July 29 (unless it was set up after November 2024). Otherwise, the identity verification process will have to be restarted through ID.me.
