2 LUs
Join us for an immersive experience as we explore how advanced technologies such as 3D laser scanning and Virtual Reality are reshaping the world of architecture. We will examine the various applications of these technologies and how they are transforming the way architects and designers approach their work. Discover how you can leverage these cutting-edge tools to enhance your services, offer a wider range of solutions, and exceed client expectations. Don't miss this opportunity to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving field of architecture.
Robert E. Hein III, RA, NCARB, NYSCEO, Project Architect at H2M architects + engineers. Robbie graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and works at H2M’s Melville office location. He has been working with H2M for over 8 years in both the private and public sectors within the architecture group. Robbie’s primary focus is managing the design and architectural production of water/wastewater treatment facilities in New York and New Jersey, and development of architectural standards. He oversees all 3D scanning for the architecture department and helps train others in the process also. Besides his passion for architecture, family, and friends, some of his favorite hobbies include: learning new technologies, drone piloting, and corn hole.
John Rousso, Staff Designer at H2M architects + engineers. John graduated from University of Hartford and works at H2M’s Westchester office location. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Purchase teaching 3D Modeling with SketchUp. John’s passion is virtual reality and loves to hear when clients say “Oh, that’s what that is going to look like” when he brings them into the virtual model of their building or space in design. With this tool we can cut through the language barrier of technical documents- to a real sense of space far before ground is broken, or drawings are complete. He has been actively involved with online virtual gaming and Extra Life since 2015 and is currently his VR Community Manager.
