Last week we had an excellent show of parents for the first day of school! We are loving getting to know all of our new students. Tool Elementary’s enrollment is up to 242 for the first day of school with several more to come next week. TES received the HONOR ROLL SCHOOL award and we’re excited about the banner being delivered today!

It’s a GREAT day to be a TIGER!!

Great First Week
As my first real experience with an elementary campus I must say that I am in love!! I am continuously being amazed at how awesome everyone is! I have been walking around the building a lot (yes my fitbit has started smoking). I am loving the engagement I see in the classrooms. I am loving the patience with me as I analyze how this awesome machine works. I am loving the positive interaction with the students. I am loving the energy I am getting from the kids. I am loving that I have the privilege to be your campus leader.

Please continue being patient with me as I see areas of improvement i.e., breakfast, lunch, traffic flow in the mornings, etc.. I have always known that MES was an outstanding campus but seeing it operate has left me in AWE!

IT IS A GRREEEAAAT TIME TO BE A TIGER and we truly are BETTER TOGETHER!!!!

Be The NICE Kid
Malakoff Middle School had an amazing first week of school. Our enrollment is up and we are excited about starting another amazing year at the Middle School. Our theme is “Be the nice kid” again this year, and we hope to have continued success in this area once again. Many parents are still working with the new online enrollment, and Mrs. Brumit and Mrs. Monroe have been helping parents as they need it. Hopefully we have completed the majority of schedule changes, and we can begin taking care of business again in the classroom, on the field, in the gym and in the band hall.
