Church Family Baptism & BBQ

Sunday, August 30th @ 12:30 - 3:00
Hosted at Calvin & Deborah Estey's (328 River Road)

If you are interested in being Baptized please speak to Pastor Jason no later than Sunday, August 23rd.

For the BBQ, the church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, disposable dishes and hand sanitizer. Please bring a salad or dessert to share and a large spoon/spatula to go with it. We will not have access to a fridge, stove or oven. Place your food in a cooler if you need to keep it cool. Thank You!

Everything will be in the back yard so please bring your own lawn chair. Bring your swimsuit if you are interested in swimming in the pool.

Please note: The bbq is weather permitting since everything will be outside. The baptism will happen rain or shine.

We will have the baptism at 12:45 sharp. We will eat at 1 PM.

Physical distancing protocols will be practiced.

There are a number of non-perishable lunch snack and personal hygiene products needed at the "Sharing Hands Food and Clothing Bank", located at The Drive Baptist Church. Donations can be dropped off at MBC at anytime. Thank you for serving our community in this way.

Personal Hygiene Products: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, bars of soap, shampoo, body wash, dish detergent & feminine products.

School Snacks: juice boxes, individual fruit, jello and pudding cups & other non-perishable snacks.
Pastor Joel: August 8th - 22nd

We Would Love To Have You Join Us In-Person This Sunday

Your safety and well being are our primary concern - so here are some things you need to know about attending in-person this week.

Entering the building
  1. Entrance to the building will be closed until 15 minutes prior to the start of the service.
  2. A volunteer will ask you to self screen before you enter the building. If you are experiencing two or more symptoms associated with COVID-19 we kindly ask that you not attend service until you are feeling better.
  3. We encourage you to wear a community mask. If there is a reason why you cannot, we will understand. If you forget to bring your community mask, we have a few available for $10 each. Proceeds help with Food Insecurity (Boaz Ministries).
  4. A volunteer inside the entrance will ask you to use hand sanitizer as soon as you are inside the building, you will be asked to sign-in giving your name and phone number, and then proceed directly to the auditorium or to children's check-in.

Entering the Celebration Centre
A volunteer will help guide you to your preferred row in the celebration centre. Please fill rows from the one end to the other. Please leave three empty seats between your family/friend bubble and the next. Thank You!
