Mass in the Park - TOMORROW! 🎉

Come join us for St. Joe's annual Mass in the Park at Sunrise Rotary Park tomorrow, Saturday, August 17th at 5:00 PM!

Mass Details: Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Jake Beltran with concelebrant Fr. Emanuel Torres-Fuentes they will be assisted by Deacon George Kashmar and Deacon Dan Coughlin. Mass will begin at 5:00 PM.

What to Bring: Your family & friends, lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray.

Food: Enjoy free burgers, hot dogs, chips, cold drinks, and ice cream after Mass.

Giveaway: We will have a giveaway of St. Joe's tote bags for the first 500 families to arrive! (Limit of 1 per family.)

Entertainment: Live music by Kings For A Weekend, a fun raffle, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and activities for all ages after Mass.

Parking: Parking is available in the rear of the church, by the Baird & Warner Real Estate building, the PNC bank parking lot, the BMO Harris Bank parking lot (across from Mickey Finn's), the McMurrough Funeral Chapel parking lots, and on surrounding streets. Due to the expected large turnout, please plan for additional time to find parking. Please note that Maple Avenue will not be available for parking.

Accessibility: Reserved handicapped parking and a convenient drop-off area will be on Broadway Street. Limited accessible seating is available near Broadway St., with Communion and food delivered to you.

Rain Plan: If it is raining, the Mass will move inside the Church, and the festivities will go on in the Koenig Center. For updates, please check our social media.

Join the Women's Ministry for a fun evening of Bunco on September 17th at 7:00 PM in the Koenig Center! We'll introduce our ministry and share our plans for the year ahead, then enjoy Bunco, appetizers, desserts, and wine while making new friends. We are looking for people to help us with a brand-new St. Joe's Christmas family event this holiday season. Ideas include Christmas caroling, photos with Santa, carnival-style games, a hot cocoa bar, and more. Men's Retreat

Join the St. Joe’s Men’s Ministry for their Annual Retreat at the Mundelein Seminary on September 21st from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The event includes a sunrise reflection over the pier, breakfast, morning speaker, lunch, afternoon speaker, small table discussions, and concludes with Mass. Learn more.

Make Lunches For Those In Need

St. Joe's is committed to providing 50 lunches each Wednesday to be delivered a local hotel where PADS Lake County is providing housing this year. Families or groups are encouraged to sign up to make lunches, however, all adults working with youth must complete compliance requirements. Sign up to help!

Eucharistic Adoration

Join us for a blessed time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament during Eucharistic Adoration every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Experience God's presence as you make time for Him to be present with you.

Become a Catechist!

You do not have to be a Biblical scholar in order to teach religious education. All you need is to have a deep love for Jesus and a desire to share His love with others who desperately need to hear that message. To learn more, please contact our Children's Faith Formation staff.

Children's Faith Formation Donut Kick-Off
